Business As Mission (BAM) Philippines believes that God is shining His light in the marketplace, starting with the heart of the individual business owner. It is a personal journey of faith and humility in the Lord, acknowledging that He alone is the source and Master of all - the business, income, skills, talent, resources. Followed by an intimate walk of obedience with the Lord, striving to be good stewards and setting out to use our God-given businesses as a platform for His glory.
A heart in alignment with the Lord then inspires the hearts of more individuals who seek to please God. From families to friends and communities of fellow Christian business owners (BAM-ily) - husband and wife, parents and children, grandparents and relatives - serving in ministry and mission together through their respective family businesses and standing firm in God-glorifying business practices.
This is the heart of Business As Mission Philippines. It is the desire to do business in accordance with godly principles, no matter the cost and challenges. It is the conviction to offer our work as our worship to the Lord and to care for the people and blessings entrusted to us. It is the perseverance in faith and obedience from one generation to the next.
Proverbs 21:2-3 says "Every person's way is right in his own eyes, but the Lord examines the hearts. To do righteousness and justice is preferred by the Lord more than sacrifice." This is what keeps the BAM heart beating strongly. Praise be to the Lord our God!
With the leading of the Holy Spirit, the complete framework - logo, vision, mission, core values, theme, and advocacy - of the BAM Philippines ministry was revealed through a husband and wife, whose hearts and lives were transformed. Their transformation also inspired their employees to seek God, in turn becoming living testimonies themselves of the BAM movement.
