Tan Sri (Sir) Francis Yeoh Sock Ping is the Executive Chairman of the YTL Group of Companies. He took over the running of his family company in 1988 and grew it into a world-class, multi-disciplinary infrastructure conglomerate comprising seven listed entities. YTL Corporation Berhad, YTL  lower International Berhad, YTL Hospitality REIT, Malayan Cement Berhad, Ranhill Utilities Bhd, NSL Ltd and Starhill Global REIT have a combined market capitalization of approximately RM70 billion (USD 17 billion) and total assets of RM 100 billion (USD24 billion).

The YTL Corporation Group has paid out a total of RM28 billion (USD7 billion) in dividends since its listing in 1987. The Group owns and manages regulated utilities, real estate, infrastructure and digital assets. YTL’s listed entities have built a strong presence across Malaysia, Singapore, the United Kingdom and beyond, while maintaining a reputation for long-term value creation, opera-tional excellence and financial discipline. The latest addition to the YTL business is Ryt Bank, which is marketed by YTL / Sea and widely reported as the world’s first AI-powered digital bank, launched in Malaysia in 2025.

A respected business leader both in Malaysia and internationally, Francis has received numerous honors. Among the many awards, in 2026 he received the World Outstanding Entrepreneur Life-time Achievement Award at the London School of Economics (LSE).

In 2010, he was made Primus Inter Pares Honoree of the Oslo Busi-ness for Peace Award by a panel of Nobel Laureates, for actively advocating socially res-ponsible business ethics and practices. He has also been recog-nized with a KBE from the United Kingdom, Japan’s Order of the Rising Sun, and Italy’s Order of the Star of Italy.

Above all, Francis is a devout Christian whose faith has pro-foundly shaped his  leader ship, philanthropy and public witness. He speaks openly about the importance of biblical con-viction, integrity and steward- ship in business and life.
