Reverend Tony Yeo
Reverend Tony Yeo is a dedicated and principled leader who has served in various capacities within the Christian community for over three decades. Currently, he holds the esteemed positions of Senior Pastor at Covenant Evangelical Free Church (Covenant EFC) since 2012 and Chairman of the Evangelical Free Church of Singapore (EFCS).
With a profound commitment to leadership development through discipleship and mentoring, Pastor Tony's journey in the ministry began in 1990, where he embarked on a path of faithful service. He is widely recognized for his exceptional leadership within the church, a journey spanning 33 years.
Reverend Yeo made significant contributions as the youngest General Secretary of the Evangelical Fellowship of Singapore (EFOS), a role he held from 2006 to 2019. In addition, he served as the Executive Secretary of the Global Day of Prayer in Singapore, an event that culminated in the historic Jubilee Day of Prayer in 2015, where 51,000 Christians gathered at the National Stadium. In 2019, he also played a pivotal role as the Executive Secretary of the Celebration of Hope.
Reverend Yeo is a learned theologian, having graduated with a Bachelor of Theology with Honors from Singapore Bible College. He furthered his theological studies and holds a Post-graduate Diploma in Spiritual Formation from Tyndale Seminary, Toronto. In 2012, he authored the influential book "Leading Beyond the Second Chair – A Certain Kind of Leadership," which reflects his passion for nurturing leadership within the Christian community.
Reverend Tony Yeo is a loving husband to Choy Mei, with whom he has shared his life journey since 1990. Their family includes two sons, Noah and Timothy, with Timothy being married to Elle.
Through his unwavering dedication to faith, leadership, and community, Reverend Tony Yeo continues to inspire and guide many on their spiritual journeys.
